Experimenting with geometrical forms and collage this series investigates in the narrative of portals. Portals have long served as metaphysical thresholds in storytelling, acting as gateways from the real world to other realms, reminiscent of tales such as "Alice in Wonderland" and countless other myths.

Katharina's current focus lies on the impact of transgenerational migration, where she explores the transmission of experiences to future generations. Questions of ownership arise: Whose story is it that I am telling? What is my story and what is inherited unknowingly?
